The Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS is a world-leading application-oriented research institution for microelectronic and information technology system solutions and services. What you will do

  • Coordinate and participate in contract negotiations with our departments, and accompany the entire process until its completion. Deadlines? Responses? No problem for you to monitor! 
  • On the basis of our mostly English-language contract templates, you prepare contracts, make customized changes according to requirement and coordinate with our legal teams as well as with our departments and external clients. 
  • Contract review, contract drafting or contract law: no detail escapes your watchful eye. You will make targeted inquiries and follow up consistently to achieve the best results.
  • Thanks to your valuable interface work, you will act as an advisor and coordinator for contact-to-contract processes. Together with your contract group colleagues, you will support our »Audio and Media Technologies« departments in contract-related matters.

What you bring to the table

  • University degree (also applied university) with a specialization in contract management or international business law, alternatively, a comparable education or relevant work experience
  • Ideally, experience in contract management, and practice in English-language contracts (e.g., T&C-based quotations, cooperation agreements, license agreements) as well as non-disclosure agreements in German and English
  • Full professional oral and written proficiency in German and English, specifically in legal content
  • Team spirit with an independent working style, organization skills, tactfulness, and assertiveness
  • Readiness to work proactively with colleagues to gather information in order to achieve an efficient workprocess
  • Proficiency with digital tools like MS Office 365; knowledge of SAP is a bonus

The position is initially limited, with an extension aspired. The position is to be filled part-time (about 70%).
