For over 30 years, the »Audio and Media Technologies« division of the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS has been shaping the globally deployed standards and technologies of audio and moving picture production. Almost all consumer electronic devices, computers, and mobile phones are equipped with systems and technologies from Erlangen, Germany, today.

What you will do
- You collaborate with experienced software developers on diverse tasks
- You work on different infrastructure components written in python
- You explore a comprehensive technology stack, used to host our technology compoments
- You extend the existing test framework and conduct load tests to confirm the scalability of our deployments
- You support the team with various tasks in the field of Dev Ops
What you bring to the table
- You are currently studying informatics, electrical engineering or information technology
- You have sound experience in software development with Python
- You are familiar with version control in Git
- You already have practical knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes
- You are willing to familiarize yourself with new technologies

Weekly working hours are determined by agreement. You can start from now on (as a student assistant from 10 to 20 hours a week or as an intern for a period of at least three months). You can reduce your hours before exams and increase them during semester breaks. You can flexibly determine the working days. After your studies, you have the option of working with us full or part time.
