What you will do

In contact with our international customers you will check the IC-Design of our customers on correctness and readiness for production, cluster the designs for the production and feed them to the semiconductor manufacturers. You will provide customer support, perform the final design rule check and organize the backend (housing, testing and delivery) for our mainly academic customers.

What you bring to the table

  • University degree in electrical engineering, physics or a similar course of study 
  • Knowledge in physical verification of integrated circuits
  • Basic expertise in semiconductor technologies as well as experience in handling IC layout tools
  • Basic understanding in mixed-signal design flow, EDA programs as well as IC production and packaging flow
  • Good knowledge of English and basic knowledge of German, both written and spoken

The position can be also filled with a career starter with corresponding knowledge and experience from internships, student research projects or final theses.

The position is initially limited to 2 years with the aim to extend it subsequently. The weekly working time is 39 hours. The position can also be filled on a part-time basis with a preference, however, to have it filled as close to a full-time position as possible. Appointment, remuneration and social security benefits based on the public-sector collective wage agreement (TVöD).
